Technical Account Manager for SaaS company

This position will be part of a Customer Engagement team.  That team is responsible for implementing, keeping and growing our client relationships.  We work to foster customer loyalty by ensuring that our customers fully utilize the value of our solutions and services and ensuring we deliver those services with high quality.

Your primary role is to work directly with clients to help provide business, functional and technology solutions; identify and build out client specific requirements for integrations and custom functionality on the software platform, then monitor and drive the implementation of those within the company and client organizations.  The position must facilitate and lead business process design/ redesign workshops while effectively establishing and managing customer/ stakeholder expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a few years’ experience with a technology consulting firm with roles focused on delivering technology-based projects for financial services clients.

Roles and Responsibilities
·    Establishes personal rapport with customers and other persons in a position to understand requirements
·    Analyze the business needs of the customers and stakeholders by identifying potential problems and proposing solutions.
·    Translate business requirements from the customer into functional and high level technical specifications, keeping in mind the technical and functional integrity of the application.
·    Manage client implementations through building and managing project plans, project governance internally and with client, and risk/issues logs, etc.
·    Support the development team to provide effective technical enhancements or solutions and work across operations, IT and administrative staff to ensure successful implementation of the client program/change
·    Validate the implemented solution against the functional specifications and as inspector to ensure that the project will match the business requirements
·    Communicate with business users related to the existence and use of delivered system functionality and current enhancements by providing product, service, or equipment-related technical and engineering information
·    May also help manage client relationships: Ensure that all of our clients’ needs are understood and addressed in the specifications so that client satisfaction and revenue are maximized and issues and risks are minimized immediately and for the long term
·    Develop subject matter expertise in the company’s products, systems, and processes in order to effectively sell, explain and implement our company’s capabilities

Qualifications
·    5+ years’ experience in developing software requirements in client facing environments
·    Solid experience in relationship building
·    Ability to understand customer needs and technical requirements
·    Engineering/programming background preferred
·    Must understand business, functional and technical lingo with the ability to change content and style based on target audience
·    Prior experience in business process modeling and design, eliciting use-cases and scenarios.
·    Excellent oral and written communication skills
·   Solution-oriented, proactive approach coupled with practical knowledge of execution in a high-growth environment
·   Ability to manage time effectively
·    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business and/or other related field
·    Strong analytical, coordination, and documentation skills
·    History of meeting/exceeding deadlines and delivery high quality results
·    Experience with Microsoft Word, Project and Excel and other common productivity software

·   Must have worked with geographically dispersed teams

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office, in addition to managing the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Manager carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.

The Human Resources Manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

This person must also be able to adjust communication to wide range of people within the company - President, all levels of employees and vendors.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for all or part of these areas:

  • Recruiting and staffing logistics;
  • Performance Management and improvement systems;
  • Basic organizational development;
  • Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting;
  • Employee orientation, development, and training;
  • New hire process (experience with immigration issues is a PLUS)
  • Policy development and documentation
  • Employee relations;
  • Company employee communication;
  • Organizational and space planning which may involve ordering equipment for employees
  • Assisting with Compensation and benefits administration;
  • Promote employee safety, welfare, wellness and health by developing a wellness plan

REQUIRED SKILLS
·         3-5 years of HR Generalist or Manager experience

FILLED | Payroll Specialist for exciting Start-Up

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist/Manager to join our client's growing Finance team at our San Francisco headquarters. This position suits a self starter with ability to work on their own and as part of a dynamic group. This role demands an entrepreneurial individual with a high level of discretion and self-motivation. Our pace is fast, our processes fluid, and our environment less than traditional. We are looking for someone who is quick, enthusiastic, and has an extremely high level of detail and organization. 

Responsibilities 
  • Manage and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for US employees in ADP Workforce Now payroll system 
  • Coordinate with HR to process all payroll changes (new employee, changed deductions, terminations, out of state employees, stock-based compensation income, etc.); work with HR & Legal teams on payroll related issues 
  • Ensure the Company is properly handling payroll taxes and withholdings; work with external auditors for year-end financial statement audit and quarterly reviews, workers’ compensation audit, 401K audit, etc.; maintain/expand knowledge of existing and new payroll related legislation, and taxation of benefits. 
  • Assist with and review the preparation and processing of stock option grants, cancellations and exercises in a timely manner; prepare monthly and quarterly stock compensation reports; provide stock plan compensation analyses and reports to legal, finance and executive management teams 
  • Develop and maintain payroll policies and processes to ensure the compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements 
  • Manage payroll and equity year-end close activities and W-2 production 
  • Prepare relevant reports and analysis for management / other departments, including monthly, quarterly and year-end for gross payroll, taxes, benefits etc.; prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations for payroll, benefit and stock compensation 
  • Maintain high level of customer service by communicating with all levels of employees and working with service providers to meet functional objectives respond to employee and former employee inquiries pertaining to payroll 


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of payroll experience and solid working knowledge of US payroll rules and procedures. 
  • 3+ years of experience in equity plan administration with understanding of FAS-123r, FAS123 and other equity accounting, tax issues and recording payroll-related transactions associated with equity plans 
  • Expert knowledge of payroll processing systems, specifically ADP Workforce Now; Intermediate level skills in MS office 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Individual must be highly motivated and able to work with tight deadlines. 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPP and CEP certifications 
  • System implementation experience
