Required Skills  :

Technical Marketing Engineer

We are in search of a Technical Marketing Engineer for our IT Security products client.  
This role can be in San Francisco Bay area or in the Washington/Baltimore area

Job Summary:
As a Technical Marketing Engineer you work cross-functionally to create technical content for products and solutions that are targeted to Customers, Field Tech Teams and Partners. The engineer will work closely with Product Management. Product Marketing, Services as well as Engineering on the company's current and future strategies related to their specific area of technical expertise. You may also work closely with third-party vendor organizations as required to achieve company goals in regards to product integration and best practices.

Responsibilities include:
·         Ability to handle customer and partner presentations independently; assistance/support needed only in special cases. Presentations include road shows, customer presentations, competitive sales presentation and other Technical collateral
·         Ownership of complex projects and the ability to work across different functional groups including product management (technical and business), services, customer support, marketing, and engineering
·         Proactive support for field/customers/partners
·         Lead and engage at various internal/external forums and be viewed as the Subject Matter Expert for the our products

Required Qualifications:

Website Marketing Operations (ON HOLD UNTIL Q1)

Our client in San Francisco is seeking a Manager of Website Operations to drive the strategic direction and implementation of multiple web properties. The Manager of Website Operations will work closely with business stakeholders to interpret marketing and business strategies and determine how they are best represented online to bring large volumes of web visitors, educate them, and converts them into leads.  You will work with developers to create highly scalable and flexible websites.

The ideal candidate has expertise in analytics, search engine marketing, user experience, user interface, information architecture, project management, product management and creative design. You must be technical enough to implement and test web analytics and code CSS, HTML, Javascript and basic php. You must be strategic enough to implement a search engine marketing (SEM) strategy and turn the website into a lead machine.

Responsibilities:

o    Development of a long-term front-end and back-end strategy for multiple web properties serving different audiences
o    Implementation of complex CMS (experience with WordPress and/or Drupal preferred), with specific experience developing and managing a project plan, developing a budget, securing resources, working with APIs and at least some direct experience theming and/or coding.
o    Implementation of web analytics, A/B testing platforms and expert understanding of how to turn data into actionable plans that drive web traffic and conversions.
o    Creation and implementation of SEM and content marketing strategies to drive web traffic and conversions.

FILLED : Senior Network Engineer / System Administrator in San Mateo, CA

We are searching for a Sr Network Engineer for our client in San Mateo, CA.

The Senior Network Engineer position is primarily responsible for the development of robust and efficient Server, Network, and SAN system architectures, ensuring detailed and well tested design of highly reliable, safe, and accurate system architecture, and leading the development of test methodologies and procedures for system integration, verification, and validation. This includes managing requirements and risks, as well as establishing and ensuring appropriate processes, best practices, and documentation for all systems activities. This position is expected to utilize quantitative approaches to design activities, to system and technology integration, deep background and experience in systems engineering and processes, and diversified interdisciplinary experience and knowledge. This position will work closely with the helpdesk team to enable robust diagnostics and reliable system performance and up time. In addition to technical expertise, Senior Network Engineers will conduct training for other I.T. personnel and bring strong leadership, planning, and team building skills. Lastly, the Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for managing the Disaster Recovery strategy and design utilizing data centers and cloud technologies.

Essential Functions:
Server Responsibilities – Designs and Maintains the administration of server environment: Windows 2008 AD running on VMWare Hosts. Two Way Trust Active Directory, Group Policies. Distributed File Share, Exchange 2010, SQL 2008 Servers and Citrix 6.5 for Windows 2008 and Windows 2008 Terminal services, IIS, VMware 5.x, Dell SAN. Ensures replication to Disaster Recovery location is completed nightly via DataDomain. Establishes Network user, email, directory accounts and implements appropriate security. Participates in Helpdesk ticketing system to track and document all requests of the I.T. Team. 

Network Responsibilities – Evaluates and monitors network performance and up time of home office and all remote property sites VPN(s). Uses scripting to update firewall/switch configurations. Cisco Firewall with VPN, Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers per network design specification. 

Training/Documentation Responsibilities – Write and perform training for helpdesk staff on various technologies and applications. Review and update technical training and documentation materials to conform to current processes and tools. Conduct document reviews with I.T. Manager and VP of Technology 

Other Responsibilities – Complete special projects as assigned by I.T. Manager or VP of Technology such as training for Helpdesk team members or other members of the Prometheus Staff; Assist Wiring Manager with special assignments in designing and installing network wiring in offices; Additional tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Principal or others at the Principal’s direction; Travel will be required and can be on short notice based upon business needs;

Position requires participation in on-call schedule with cell phone in the event of outages.

Required Qualifications - Skills - and Experience:
·         Bachelor degree in the field of MIS or Computer Science and/or 6 to 8 years equivalent I.T. experience.
·         Minimum 5-7 years experience implementing and managing VMware 4 and 5 in a high availability enterprise environment.
·         Minimum 5-7 years as a Windows 2008 System Administrator
·         Minimum 5-7years configuring Cisco routers, switches, firewalls
