FILLED : Community Manager for SaaS Start-Up in San Francisco


This position requires partnering with architects and engineering, marketing communication and sales management to create and launch new products for multiple use cases and vertical markets.



Responsibilities

  • Manage products include P and L strategy and definition
  • Identify new markets and develop go-to-market strategy including pricing
  • Define buyers and users personas by working closely with customers
  • Determine market messaging that resonates with target markets
  • Create sales materials and tools to empower inside and field sales teams
  • Partner with BI Architect to build products and marketing to launch products that create demand
  • Communicate market trends and customer needs to engineering teams
  • Execute competitive analysis to understand and track marketing dynamic leading to sound business decisions
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in an analytical field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management (consumer or SaaS), management consulting, investment banking or venture capital
  • Analytical and cross-functional – you will need to interface across marketing, engineering, sales, legal, consulting and senior leadership
  • Proven ability to learn and iterate quickly, empathize with the customer, and deliver excellent results under tight deadlines
  • Understanding of benefits of cloud, big data and business intelligence



Preferred

  • MBA
  • Entrepreneurial experience
  • Engineering experience is a plus
