Our client is a global provider of IT staffing services and the second largest in North America. We are seeking a technical account manager for their Silicon Valley and Peninsula office locations.
Job Description:
- Ability to be a team player.
- Manage tactical opportunities into become long term strategic opportunities to consistent territory growth over 20% year over year.
- Achieve sales objectives primarily through sales to new customers and also through sales of additional services to existing customers.
- Ability to develop a new account base, establish relationships, and close viable business opportunities.
- Discover client business needs and propose appropriate technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about products and service solutions from company
- Provide excellent service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Must be a competitive, high achiever, who is persistent, overcoming obstacles, competition, or setbacks.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Minimum 2 years sales experience (preferably tech) required
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Creative problem solver.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion and presentation abilities.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Should have a high level understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of various technologies and IT verbiage.
