PR Agency | Digital Marketing Manager

This position is responsible for creating and implementing digital marketing campaigns on behalf of company clients. This includes, but is not limited to, managing social channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, blogs;) writing and editing social media content; running social media advertising campaigns with a focus on ROI; social media event management; managing SEO and PPC campaigns; reporting on campaign results and utilizing reporting metrics and tools (Sysomos, Traackr, Hootsuite, SEO Moz, Google Analytics.)

The candidate will also have direct client management responsibility, and will interact with clients and participate in weekly meetings, presentations and client events. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and a good sense of project and time management.

Reporting Structure

The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist reports to a Digital Marketing Manager or above. The individual will be expected to interact directly with clients and be capable of self-managing his or her time effectively. The individual will also be expected to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Skills

The responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Developing and presenting social media strategies
  • Planning and implementing tactical social media campaigns – community/channel management, channel audits, influencer outreach, generating content, online contest, Tweet chats and developing interactive content
  • Participating in social media support at client events, tradeshows
  • Executing SEO for client websites and communicating efficient SEO strategies, tactics and reporting
  • Executing social media advertising campaigns and reporting on results
  • Executing PPC (SEM) campaigns on behalf of clients and reporting on results
  • Managing campaign reporting tools, compiling reports and presenting results to clients
  • Leading larger projects and campaigns on behalf of clients
  • Exceptional organization, writing, project management and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to contribute individually and participate in cross-functional teams
  • Coaching and training new staff
  • Participating in new business pitches and preparation of presentation decks
